Clinical Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse to oversee specialist nursing care across paediatric residential services in the South and West Midlands. You will conduct clinical assessments, lead multidisciplinary care planning, and uphold clinical governance across regional sites. What the first twelve months look like

In your first 12 months, you will audit and standardise complex care plans across assigned services from Telford to Milton Keynes. You will deliver clinical supervision and safeguarding training to residential teams, while embedding quality assurance frameworks that maintain high regulatory standards.

What you'll own

  • Assess clinical nursing needs and develop outcome-focused care plans for young people with complex health and neurodevelopmental conditions.
  • Provide clinical oversight, competency assessments, and supervision to care staff across assigned regional sites.
  • Work alongside multidisciplinary teams, NHS commissioners, and external clinical specialists to coordinate complex care delivery.
  • Lead clinical governance, incident reviews, and regulatory compliance across assigned residential care locations.
  • Conduct regular site visits across the regional network, covering locations from Telford to Milton Keynes.

What we need to see

  • Active Registered Nurse status with valid NMC registration (RCN, RNLD, or RMN with complex paediatric experience).
  • Proven clinical background supporting children or young people with complex health, neurodevelopmental, or behavioural needs.
  • Demonstrated competence in clinical risk assessment, care planning, and staff clinical supervision.
  • Valid UK driving licence and access to an owned vehicle for regional travel.
