Digital Health Product Manager

Own a patient facing product inside a regulated clinical pathway, from discovery to release.

A product with clinical outcomes attached, and the authority to say no.

Why this role exists

Product decisions are currently made by whoever shouts loudest in the clinical or commercial meeting, and nobody owns the outcome.

What the first twelve months look like

A roadmap tied to clinical outcomes rather than feature counts, a discovery habit involving real patients, and releases that pass clinical safety review first time.

What you'll own

  • Own discovery, roadmap and delivery for a patient facing product area
  • Work with clinicians on pathway design and safety
  • Define success metrics that mean something clinically
  • Partner with commercial on NHS and payer requirements

What we need to see

  • Product management experience in a regulated or clinical setting
  • Comfortable with DTAC, DCB0129 and information governance realities
  • Evidence of shipping against outcomes, not output
  • Genuine user research practice

About the organisation

Digital health company with NHS and private payer customers.

Questions candidates ask

What does a digital health product manager earn in the UK?
Typically 70,000 to 105,000 GBP in 2026 depending on stage and scope, often with equity. This role is banded at 80,000 to 95,000 GBP plus equity.
Do you need a clinical background to be a digital health PM?
No, but you need regulatory literacy: DTAC, DCB0129, information governance and how clinical pathways actually run. Employers weight that above clinical qualifications.
