The board is commercially strong and clinically thin. As the provider enters CQC-registered territory, that imbalance stops being tolerable.
What the first twelve months look like
A board that can interrogate clinical risk properly, and an executive team that is genuinely held to account on governance rather than reassured.
What you'll own
- Provide independent clinical scrutiny at board level
- Chair or sit on the clinical governance committee
- Support the executive on regulatory strategy
What we need to see
- Senior clinical leadership background
- Prior NED or committee experience preferred
- Independent-minded and comfortable disagreeing well
