Senior Business Development Manager

New-business ownership across NHS and independent-sector buyers for a diagnostics provider.

Why this role exists

The provider has capacity it cannot fill and a referral base concentrated in too few accounts. This role diversifies it.

What the first twelve months look like

Six new accounts live, referral concentration reduced, and a repeatable process documented rather than held in one person's head.

What you'll own

  • Own new-business targets across NHS and independent sector
  • Build relationships with referrers, not just procurement
  • Run the full cycle from first contact to signed contract

What we need to see

  • Health or diagnostics sales background
  • Experience navigating NHS procurement without being defeated by it
  • Genuinely consultative — this is not a volume role

About the organisation

Independent diagnostics provider, roughly 200 people.

What happens after you apply

  1. 1

You hear back in one working day

A consultant reads your CV, not a filter. You get a yes, a no, or a question.

  2. 2

    A twenty minute call

Scope, salary, working pattern and what the employer is really like, before anyone sees your details.

  3. 3

We introduce you, with your consent

Your CV only goes to the client once you have agreed to the introduction.

  4. 4

    Interview and decision

Prep from us, feedback from them, usually inside two weeks of the first call.
